Over the last year we have seen declining access to primary healthcare in rural and remote communities at the very time we have seen the critical importance of primary healthcare in managing the pandemic and chronic disease.
RARMS is now in its 20th year of successfully delivering 24/7 primary healthcare in rural and remote communities using onsite GPs, nurses and health staff. Our dedicated teams live and work in some of the most challenging communities in Australia delivering care to more than 20,000 highly vulnerable patients who would not have access to reliable and consistent care without RARMS’ support.
The sustainability of local primary healthcare services relies more than ever on the kindness and support of our donors and supporters.
The campaign is asking our supporters and friends to give generously to help rural and remote Australians to access the care they need. If you are not presently a supporter, we are keen to hear from you to talk about how we can work together to ensure fairness for rural and remote Australians in access to healthcare.
This year we are also calling on the business world to dig deep to help us to maintain the high quality care we have supported for 20 years.
To donate please go to https://give.ruralandremotehealrh.org.au. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.
To discuss corporate support or bequests, please call (02) 4062 8900 to discuss how we can work together to ensure fairness and equity for our fellow Australians living in rural and remote communities.
